Three students drowned in river Ganga at Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh today. The accident happened near Ganga Barrage under Kohana police station his morning. The BTech pursuing students had gone for bathing with their friends in the river.
According to eye witness one of them while bathing lost balance, others rushed to save him and in the effort themselves drowned. Afterwards, divers fetched out the dead bodies of all three. Police said the deceased were the students of Dr BR Ambedkar Engineering Institute, Kanpur.
