India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was admitted to All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Monday evening.
According to sources at AIIMS, she was admitted to the old private ward of Pulmonary Medicine Department around 5 PM.
According to an agency report at 10 PM, Swaraj was shifted to the Cardio-Neuro Centre of the hospital.
Her condition is reported to be stable.
“There is nothing to worry. We have admitted her to one of our private wards under a team of multi-specialists. She has been put on antibiotics and is doing fine,” reports HT quting a senior doctor.
Swaraj has a history of acute diabetes.
