In Tennis, world number five Rafael Nadal won his 9th Monte Carlo Masters title last night. The Spaniard, who is known as the King of Clay, defeated Frenchman Gael Monfils, 7-5, 5-7, 6-0 to record his 68th win from 100 finals on the ATP World Tour. Nadal has, now, claimed clay-court titles in each of last 13 years. Before losing the 2013 final to world number one Novak Djokovic, Nadal had won eight consecutive titles. The win also helped the Spaniard equal Djokovic’s record of 28th Masters titles.
