Congress has charged the BJP with making attempts to destabilize its government in Uttarakhand. Talking to media in New Delhi today, party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said, Congress is not scared of such conspiracies. He said, it is unfortunate that first elected governments are destabilized by a conspiracy and then they are sought to be unseated without will of people.

The BJP had reportedly staked claim to form government in Uttarakhand with support from rebel Congress MLAs. A delegation of BJP members had met the Governor Friday.

Talking to media in New Delhi, BJP leader Srikant Sharma said, Congress government in the state must be dismissed immediately because the majority is not with Chief Minister Harish Rawat.
