In poll-bound Tamil Nadu, the DMK has made an invitation to the Congress to forge an electoral alliance with it. Responding to the queries of media persons in Chennai on Monday, its patriarchal leader M.Karunanidhi said, the DMK has invited the actor-turned politician Vijayakant’s DMDK also to join hands with it.
He termed that while an invitation is made to the friendly parties for the alliance, the Congress will not be excluded by the DMK. He also said the DMK’s election manifesto will highlight its agenda for the state’s industrial, economic and trade growth and improving the life standards of the poor. Tamil Nadu goes to the Assembly polls next year
