New Delhi: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has expressed deep sorrow over deaths in the blasts in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh and offered condolences to the families of victims. Around 90 people were killed and over 50 wounded in the deadly blasts on Saturday (12th Sep).
While demanding a high-level probe under the supervision of the state High Court, Jamaat has urged the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government to award at least Rs 10 lakh to kin of each deceased and offer free treatment to the injured.“Some media reports said the main accused has association with the ruling BJP. For a fair probe and punishment to the culprit, we demand a high-level investigation under the supervision of Madhya Pradesh High Court,” said Salim Engineer, Secretary General of Jamaat.
Meanwhile Madhya Pradesh police has managed to track down the wife and children of Rajendra Kaswa, the main accused of the Jhabua explosions that killed at least 100 people. Kaswa is still absconding.
Kaswa’s wife, his son and his daughter have been detained from a relative’s house in Manpur.Cops are interrogating the family members.
