Three passengers were killed and ten other injured when a charter special toy train derailed at Taksal near Parwanoo in Solan district In Himachal Pradesh on Saturday.

The accident took place about 86 km from Capital town Shimla.

The injured were first taken to the Parwanoo hospital and later some of them were shifted to a private hospital in Chandigarh.

The condition of these injured is stated to be stable. The Deputy Commissioner Solan Madan Chauhan put the death toll three while the railway authorities said two female has been died.

Four coaches special toy train departs from Kalka railway station at 1245 hrs to Shimla.

Total 37 foreign nationals and four railway staff members were on board in it and it just covered nearly four kilometre of distance when at a sharp curve near Taksal, the first railway station on this narrow gauge rail track, all the coaches derailed.

The two of the deceased are female and has been identified as British Nationals.
