JD(U) President Sharad Yadav met Mulayam Singh Yadav in New Delhi this evening in the wake of Samajwadi Party’s decision to quit the anti-BJP alliance in Bihar. Talking to reporters after the meeting, JD(U) Chief said he discussed Bihar polls issue with Samajwadi Party President and claimed that there is no threat to the grand alliance and it will continue.

He, however, evaded questions whether Mulayam Singh Yadav has agreed to reconsider his party’s decision to go alone in the polls. AIR correspondent reports that RJD Chief Lalu Prasad is also expected to meet SP Chief in a day or two to persuade him to reconsider his decision.
