Mumbai Police are making special security arrangements to deal with any possible fallout on law and order front in the wake of the hanging of Yakub Memon, convicted in the 1993 serial bomb blasts in the metropolis.
Memon’s execution is scheduled on July 30 at Nagpur Central Jail. As a preventive measure, police are keep a strict vigil at sensitive places in the city. Meanwhile, Public information officer of Governor C Vidyasagar Rao informed that the governor is yet to receive mercy petition of Yakub Memon.
