The Severe Cyclonic Storm Murasu over south coastal Andhra Pradesh has moved north-northwestwards and weakened into a cyclonic storm, and lay centered 40 kilometres west-northwest of Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh. The India Meteorological Department has said that the Cyclonic Storm is very likely to continue to move north-northwestwards and weaken into a deep depression today. Met Department said it is under the continuous surveillance of Doppler Weather Radars at Machilipatnam and Visakhapatnam.
