The Election Commission of India has revised the schedule for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision 2026 in Delhi. According to the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi, the last date to file claims and objections will be the 30th of next month. The notice phase and disposal of claims and objections will continue till the 30th of November. The final electoral roll will now be published on the 4th of December.
The Delhi CEO further informed that special camps were successfully organised at all polling station locations in the NCT of Delhi yesterday for the enrolment of new voters through Form-6. Other electoral services were also provided during the camps. According to the statement, another round of special camps for the enrolment of young electors will be held at all colleges, universities and other educational institutions in the national capital on the 29th and 30th of this month.
It stated that, as of today, over 2,98,400 hearings for notices issued in unmapped and logical discrepancy cases have been conducted in Delhi. The Commission reiterated its firm commitment to a transparent, participative and inclusive revision process, ensuring that no eligible citizen is left out while no ineligible person is included in the electoral roll.
