Former Union Minister and Congress leader Sudarshana Nachiappan passed away due to illness at his residence at Sivaganga today. The 78-year-old leader represented Sivaganga in Lok Sabha from 1999 to 2004.
Later, he was also nominated to the Rajya Sabha. He served as a Minister of State during late Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s tenure. He was also an advocate in the Supreme Court.
