Delhi-NCR Air Quality Remains Very Poor

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense to very dense fog conditions over Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand today. The Met Department has said, dense fog conditions are likely to prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Punjab, West Bengal and Sikkim. IMD has also predicted cold wave conditions over Interior Karnataka and Telangana.

Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to remain in the very poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index (AQI) of the National Capital was recorded at 380 as of 7 AM today.
