Air Chief Amar Preet Singh attends NCC at Republic Day Camp 2025

Chief of the Air Staff Amar Preet Singh today attended the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp 2025 in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Singh said that NCC is doing a commendable job in bringing the nation together.

He expressed happiness calling NCC a hub of young minds who are trained towards nation-building. Mr Singh also encouraged the youth to join NCC and take the country’s growth forward. The Air Staff chief said that the NCC helps in imparting the skills of selfless service, leadership, patriotism, and discipline among others He also asserted that the Indian Air Force will offer every possible help through training and other programmes to the NCC.

He motivated the cadets to stand by the NCC motto of ‘Unity and Discipline’ and the pledge in all walks of life whether in uniform or not.

The CAS emphasised on the fact that NCC Republic Day Camp gives the cadets an opportunity to interact amongst all from different cultures, religions & regions and thus strengthens the ‘Unity in Diversity’ spirit of India. He lauded the cadets for their outstanding and engaging performance in the event.

The Chief of Air Staff reviewed the ‘Guard of Honour’ by the cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NCC. This was followed by a band display by the cadets of Scindia School, Gwalior.  Air Chief Marshal inspected the ‘Flag Area’, which was prepared by cadets from all 17 NCC Directorates on various social awareness themes.

The CAS also visited the ‘Hall of Fame’ and was briefed about the history, training and achievements of NCC. Later, the Air Chief Marshal, accompanied by other distinguished guests, witnessed a ‘Cultural Programme’ performed by the cadets from different Directorates who put up an enthralling show presenting the Indian culture through ballet, group dance and songs.
