In Sri Lanka, the Election Commission has announced that the distribution of ballot boxes to returning officers for the upcoming presidential election has been completed.
Ballot boxes have been issued to over 13 thousand 4 hundred polling stations across the country, with each station receiving one box. The boxes are available in three sizes, small, medium, and large- depending on the number of eligible voters at each polling station.
The ballot boxes will be transported to the polling stations on Friday. The election is scheduled to be held on Saturday, the 21st of September.
