HYDERABAD: The newly appointed Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Kiran Kumar Reddy has expanded his cabinet with 39 ministers. Governor E S L Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to them. Along with 28 members of the previous cabinet, 11 more members have been inducted into the new Cabinet. The portfolios are yet to be allotted.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has begun his innings with a mix of new and old players in his team. Striking a perfect balance he provided due share to different sections, regions and districts of the state in his newly constituted cabinet. As expected, he dropped 5 members, most of them were close aids of Jaganmohan Reddy who resigned to Kadapa Lok Sabha seat two days ago. While continuing the rest of the previous cabinet, he inducted 11 more members including 8 first timers as ministers. The portfolios are yet to be allotted while the Cabinet will be meeting for the first time tomorrow after its formation.
