LEH: (AMN) Home Minister P. Chidambaram has said that all the sections of people of the state would be consulted to find solution to the Kashmir issue.
Home minister who is in Ladakh for two-day visit of border areas of Jammu and Kashmir met with leaders of various political parties and has assured them that their view would taken for resolution of the Kashmir issue. According to AIR news Home Minister would also visit Kargil where he will meet local people of the border district.
Reviewing meeting of progress of the rehabilitation of the flood affected people, Home Minister. Chidambaram assured to provide financial assistance of Rupees sixteen core and fifty lakh for restoring damaged agricultural lands. The leaders of political parties have welcomed the appointment of three member interlocutors for Kashmir issue and task force for finding need of developmental infrastructure for Ladakh and Jammu region of the state. The leaders also expressed hope the interlocutors will visit Ladakh to find Ladakhi political aspiration.
