Explosions have been heard in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities today morning. The air strikes come as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is due to speak at The Hague as part of an unexpected visit to the Netherlands.

Earlier, Russia accused Ukraine of carrying out a drone attack on the Kremlin, which Russia claims was an attempt on President Vladimir Putin’s life. However, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied the Russian allegations.

The Russian president’s office said drones targeting the complex had been disabled using electronic radar assets, adding that President Putin was not in the complex at the time of the alleged attack. Russia had threatened to retaliate after the drone incident.
