Ever since, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has shunted him out from the post of the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, the maverick Lal Krishna Advani is leaving no occasion to keep himself in the limelight of Indian politics. By hook or by crook, he has been trying to prove his supremacy not only in the BJP, but also in national politics. Yearn of supremacy has made him blind of political decorum and courtesy. In the arrogance of superiority, he is not caring even the prestige of his colleagues including party president. Though, the younger leaders in the BJP, out of respect always try to keep him in high esteem and not speaking against him despite several provocations, Advani never care for their importance.
Advani has a ‘dangerous weapon’ of ‘off the record statements’ to malign his party 
colleague to whom he did not like. Recently when some senior leaders of the BJP was making an understanding with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) to form a stable government in Jharkhand, Advani suddenly used his off of the record statements to gave the impression that something very bad going to happen in Jharkhand. It also gave impression that those who were interacting with Soren’s party were inferior.
Advani kept himself away from Arjun Munda’s swearing in ceremony giving lame excuses. The ‘great’ leader who could not get time even to congratulate a tribal leader on being chief minister has enough time to visit Sabarmati Jail to meet former minister of state for home Amit Shah. Shah has been in jail in connection with the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case. The CBI has claimed that Shah was the kingpin behind the conspiracy to exterminate Sohrabuddin Shaikh, his wife, Kausar Bi, and Tulsi Prajapati, a witness to Sohrabuddin’s death. CBI is not not an ISI but country’s prime investigative agency. What message he sent out by his meeting with a man who is arrested by CBI.
Senior Congress leader from Gujarat Arjun Modhvadia has rightly termed Advani’s visit to Sabarmati Jail as the ‘height of the shamelessness’ and ‘promotion of extortionist’.
Interestingly two days after visiting Amit shah, he was invited for Eid Milan at India Islamic culture centre, where he shared dais with some Muslim leaders and partook sweets.
By maligning Shibu Soren in Jharkhand, Advani tried to prove himself a perfect man and has done nothing wrong in his political career. The fact before the people is that Mr. Advani has proved more ‘dangerous’ to the country than Shibu Soren.
Allegation on Soren is that, he incited a mob to attack in Chirudih village in Jamtara district in a campaign to drive away ‘non-tribals’ on 23 January 1975. Eleven people were killed in the violence. Soren and numerous others were charged with various crimes related to this incident. Soren was acquitted on March 6, 2008. However, some case is still pending. Again Soren was found guilty of murder of his former personal secretary Shashinath Jha by District Court. He was even arrested and remained in jail for several months. However Delhi High Court on 23 Aug 2007 overruled the District Court and acquitted Soren, stating that "the prosecution has miserably failed in bringing home the charge against the accused persons. Here it does not mean that Soren be admired or honoured but a man like Advani has no right to question Soren integrity.
What advani has done to this nation can never be forgotten. Aisa zakhm diya hai jo na phir bharega.
In 1989, when Advani embarked on a ‘rath yatra’ to mobilize innocent ‘karsevaks’ to converge upon the Babri Masjid to offer puja, he not only disregarded the unity and harmony of the country, but enjoyed the killing of over 500 innocent people in his air-conditioned chariot. His blog boosts this Ram Rath Yatra from Somnath to Ayodhya in 1990 as a high point of his political life.
Again in 1992 when he moblised people for the demolition of Babri Masjid in 1992, series of violence and bloodshed took unaccounted lives across the country. He was not only instrumental in demolishing the Babri Masjid, but he demolished very faith of the two communities which was built after a long time of partition of the country. It was he who gave rise to the terrorism in the country. The first major incident of terrorism in the country was happened on March 13, 1993, just three month of Babri demolition.
After coming to power the maverick Advani denied his role in demolishing the historical mosque, but those who know the slogan ‘Iska kaam kar do.… Kya, Babri Masjid ka kalank nahin mit sakta?’ (Finish this off.. Is the blot of the Babri Mosque unremovable?’) know the truth.
Advani claims of innocence also proved false when Anju Gupta, IPS, who was posted as Advani’s Security during the 1992 demolition, has repeatedly testified in court that he was seen instigating the crowds and celebrating the destruction of the historic mosque.
Advani also tried to show that he is very soft hearted person and screeched at minor painful incidents. Tear rolled down his cheek when he watched Amir khan’s ‘Taare Zamin par’ and many other occasions. But we could never see even single drop of his tear when people were being killed during his Rath Yatra and the Gujarat riots.
It was all history, but the man is again trying to rub the old wounds. What was his intention when he visited the Somnath temple in the much glare of media? Was he wanted to remind the nation that he had started his bloody Rath Yatra from there 20 years back? If his intention was performing Puja it could have been done privately and secretly.
Much to the relief of common people no senior leaders of the BJP agree to visit Somnath temple along with him. He chose to share the Puja Asthal with Sadhvi Uma Bharti who once scolded him at party headquarters in the full glare of media.
It is good to know that party is not giving much importance to the Advani utterances. If reports are to be believed Advani was kept out of key strategy meetings on Ayodhya held over two days earlier this month at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh headquarters in Jhandewalan. He was not present even at the core group meeting convened by BJP president Nitin Gadkari on September 24.
Advani is watching the development curiously, and he could play his own card at the time when nation is on the verge of Mandir- Masjid tussle once again. Keep watch on him to save the nation.
