Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while presenting state budget for the next financial year in the state assembly today announced several welfare measures for the people of the state.

He announced that Unemployment allowance of 2500 rupees will be given to unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 years, whose annual family income is less than 2.5 lakh rupees. Along with this, the proposal of light metro service from Nava Raipur to Durg has been proposed in the budget.

The allowance of Anganwadi workers has been increased from 6500 to 10 thousand. This is the fifth budget of the Bhupesh Baghel government. Due to the election year, Baghel has opened the government treasury to the public. During the budget speech, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had listed the achievements of his government. He had said that Chhattisgarh Matdal got recognition at the national level, the progress of the state is our resolve.

Chhattisgarh’s trust budget dedicated in honor of daughters. with this the Chief Minister gave a big gift for the marriage of daughters

Provision of Rs 250 crore for unemployment allowance.
The honorarium of home guards was also increased.
The amount of destitute pension has been increased from Rs.300 to Rs.500.
The honorarium of cooks in schools has been increased from Rs.1500 to Rs.1800.
Under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana, a provision of Rs 50,000 has now been made by increasing the assistance amount of Rs 25,000.
Apart from this, industrial parks will also be set up in cities on the lines of industrial parks in rural areas.
Provision for establishment of 23 new colleges.
State Research Fellowship Scheme will be started.
Provision of 2 crores for Aerocity, near Nava Raipur Airport.
100 crore provision for 36 government ITI institutes.
Mukhyamantri Dharohar Darshan Yojana will be started. Under the scheme, students will be taken to visit the state protected heritage sites.
Apart from this, an aerocity will be built near Raipur airport.
400 crore provision for the development of primary and higher education.
500 crore provision for roads. Provision of Rs.5 crore for Chief Minister Chhattisgarhi Parakh Samman Yojana.
