The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India issued the following statement today condemning the misuse of government agencies.
The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India notes with grave concern the letting loose of government agencies — income-tax department, enforcement directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation, etc — against opposition leaders especially of those from the non-BJP ruled states. The Party strongly condemns the misuse of government machinery aimed at only toppling the democratically elected non-BJP governments.
The Party also disapproves the government’s partisan stand in the name of fighting corruption. It acts as if only opposition leaders are corrupt and ruling party leaders are free of corruption.
The Party has always been in the forefront in the fight to eradicate all kinds of corruption.
