High polling has been reported in the second phase of local body elections in Kerala today. Overall 72.05 per cent of voting was reported till 4:30 pm in the 5 districts which went to polls in this phase.
So far 70.02 per cent polling is recorded in Kottayam, 72.36 per cent in Ernakulam, 70.94 per cent in Thrissur, 73.51 per cent in Palakkad and 75.25 per cent in Wayanad districts. Polling has been peaceful in all 5 districts till now.
