Maharashtra Energy Minister Nitin Raut today tested positive for COVID-19, becoming the ninth member of the State Cabinet to contract the infection. Mr Raut , who is also the Working President of the State Congress, tweeted about his diagnosis.
Earlier, Ministers Jitendra Awhad , Ashok Chavan , Dhananjay Munde , Sunil Kedar , Balasaheb Patil , Aslam Shaikh , Abdul Sattar and Vishwajit Kadam had tested positive for COVID-19.
