The numbers of COVID-19 cases in Madhya Pradesh climbed up to 97 thousand 906 after record more than two thousand 391 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours.
With 33 patients succumbing to the infection, the death toll rose to one thousand 877. On the other hand, the Corona infection report of State Public Health Engineering Minister Edal Singh Kanshana has also come positive.
As per the State Health Bulletin, two thousand 863 Corona virus patients were discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours taking the number of recovered cases in the state to around 74 thousand 398. There are now 21 thousand 631 active cases in Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the temporary services of pass-outs of post-graduate courses from government autonomous medical colleges of the state have been taken for COVID-19 work. Now the State Government has decided to merge the work period of services taken during the Corona period with the period of compulsory rural service to be done after they pass the post-graduate course.
Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang informed that the government has also taken the decision to extend the service period of junior doctors in COVID-19 duty till December on an honorarium approved by the National Health Mission.
