Maharashtra has received 19,233 crore rupees of GST compensation from the Central Government. Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Devendra Fadnavis spoke to reporters today after the meeting of the Working Advisory Committee held at Vidhan Bhavan, Mumbai.
He said those who were repeatedly accusing the central government, should now thank the central government.
He also said that Maharashtra has received majority help from the PM care fund and he thanked Prime Minister Modi and the central government for the same.
Mr Fadnavis said that the opposition was against holding the monsoon session of the state legislature in the presence of a limited number of people’s representatives as he said that it is the constitutional right of every member to attend the session.
He said it is the wish of millions of Ram devotees that Bhumi Pujan of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya should be held on a grand scale. He added that in view of covid-19 pandemic, people will participate in the celebrations from wherever they are and rejoice by obeying the rules.
