Curfew has been imposed at Bhilwara district headquarter after six persons tested positive including three Doctors and three nursing staff of a private hospital. District Collector Rajendra Bhatt told that 27 persons having symptoms have been kept in isolation. He said that the hospital has also been sealed.
Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr Raghu Sharma told media persons that the situation has become more serious as a doctor treating patients has been found positive. He told that it has been instructed to impose curfew in the city and borders of the district have also been sealed to prevent the spread of the virus further.
The Minister appealed people of other districts not to visit Bhilwara. He also told that some more cases tested positive in the state today.
Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has said that she and her son Dushyant Singh are living in self-quarantine.
In a tweet, she mentioned that they attended a dinner party in Lucknow, which was also attended by Kanika Kapoor, who has already tested Corona positive.
In video conferencing with District officials today, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed concern over the spread of Coronavirus and said that the damage caused by it cannot be imagined.
Instructions have been issued to take action against those who do not comply with Home Isolation, Section 144 and curfew. Legal action is also being taken against people who spread misleading information through social media.
