In yet another incident of ceasefire violation, Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate firing targeting Indian forward posts and civilian areas in border district of Poonch in Jammu & Kashmir today.
Defence spokesperson told AIR News that at around 1045 hours, Pakistani troops started firing with small arms and shelling with mortars along the Line of Control in Degwar sector of Poonch district. However, Indian troops retaliated and are giving a befitting reply to Pak roaring guns. The exchange of fire between Indian and Pak troops was going on when reports last came in. No damage was caused to Indian side so far by the Pak firing. Pakistani troops have been continuously violating ceasefire and targeting Civilian areas from the last six days .
