A minor fire broke out mid-flight on Sunday on a Japanese government jet with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on board. The fire was extinguished quickly with no injuries.
Media reports say that the PM was flying to Bangkok from Tokyo on a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to attend ASEAN Summit.
However, there was no change to Shinzo Abe’s itinerary.
