Election Commission reviews poll preparedness of West Bengal today. The Deputy Election Commissioner Mr. Sudip Jain has arrived here today for this purpose. Mr. Jain is currently meeting the representatives of registered political parties.
Later in the afternoon, the Deputy Election Commissioner will meet the District Magistrates, Superintendents of Police and top brass of the State administration to take stock of the law and order situation.
Meanwhile, 10companies of Central Para – Military Force have arrived in the State to ensure free and fair polls.
