A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson has said that it is justified for Chinese telecom giant Huawei Technologies to take legal action against the United States.
Lu Kan was speaking at a news conference on Thursday.
He said China believes that it is perfectly proper and fully understandable for companies to defend their legitimate rights and interests through legal means.
Lu also reiterated China’s opposition to the US National Defense Authorization Act, which Huawei says is unfair.
