GThe government has cleared the National Policy on Electronics 2019. It envisions positioning India as a global hub for Electronics System Design and Manufacturing.
This will also create an enabling environment for the industry to compete globally.
Some of the other important decisions taken by the Cabinet include re-promulgation of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Ordinance and additional DA of three per cent to Central government employees and pensioners.
