ASIA CUP: India thrash Pakistan by 8 wickets

India thrashed Pakistan by 8 wickets in a match of the Asia Cup 2018 at Dubai Cricket Stadium in UAE on Sunday. India chased down Pakistan’s below-par target of 163 in 29 overs at the loss of two wickets.

Pakistan had set a victory target of 163 runs for India which later achieved by losing only 2 wickets in second Pool-A match of the Asia Cup Cricket in Dubai today.

India skittled out Pakistan for a modest 162 in 43.1 overs. While Kedar Jadhav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took three wickets each, Jasprit Bumrah accounted for two and Kuldeep Yadav one.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first against India.

India made two changes in the playing eleven, bringing in Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya for Shardul Thakur and Khaleel Ahmed.

Meanwhile, Pandya stretchered off the field after sustaining an acute lower back injury.

The incident took place in the 18th over of the Pakistan innings when the all-rounder was bowling his fifth over.
