Five terrorists were killed in the encounter at Chowgam in Kulgam district today. According to reports among the dead terrorists is a top commander of Hixbul Mujahideen. Two army personnel were also injured in the encounter.
Weapons and ammunitions were recovered during the encounter which has now concluded.
