National Commission for Women has summoned Kerala MLA PC George for his derogatory remarks against an alleged sexual assault victim.
In its notice to George, the Commission chairperson Rekha Sharma condemned his comments and asked him to be present before the NCW on 20th of this month to explain his position.
Earlier, the Chairperson had said the nun was allegedly facing discrimination after levelling sexual assault charges against Jalandhar Bishop Franco Mulakkal and that she was not getting support from the church.
