India today said it was ready for talks with Pakistan, but terror and talks cannot go together. Addressing annual press conference on completion of four years of the government, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said, there is no change in this stand of government of India.

She said, talks on terror can be held if Pakistan immediately stops sponsoring terrorism against India.

She said there are established mechanisms between the two countries and talks are being held on terrorism through them.

Asked about H4 and H1B visa, the Minister said India is in touch with the the US administration and will continue to take up the matter in future as well to safeguard the interests of Indians nationals.

On Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding informal summits with China and Russia, she said, informal summits are new dialogue mechanism by India. She said informal summits will strengthen and further deepen bilateral relations.

The Minister also said government has achieved unprecedented outreach and unparalleled outcome at the global stage in the last four years.

She said the government has reached out to 186 out of 192 nations under its “unprecedented outreach and unparalleled outcomes” policy.
