At least 11 people were killed when a four-storey building of a hotel collapsed late last night in Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

Many people are feared trapped in the debris. Rescue operation is on to pull out the people trapped in the debris.

The building was very old and it collapsed after a car collided with a pillar of the building.

Indore Commissioner Sanjay Dubey said a detailed inquiry will be held to ascertain the reason behind the collapse. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have condoled the deaths in the incident.
