Two militants have been killed in an encounter in Keran sector of Kupwara district as another infiltration attempt has been foiled in Jammu and Kashmir.
However, bodies are yet to be recovered till now. Army spokesman said that last night an infiltration attempt was foiled in Jumagand Nar area in North Kashmir’s Keran Sector. The Spokesman said that operation is progressing slowly in difficult dense forested mountainous area in Tangdar sector. A group of 05 to 06 heavily armed infiltrators is believed to have yesterday night infiltrated near Madhuri-Ragni Post along Line of Control in this sector.
Meanwhile, the search operation is progressing slowly to flush out militants infiltrated near this side of Line of Control on Saturday night in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara. A soldier was killed and two others were injured in an overnight gun battle in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara.
