SRINAGAR (AMN) The eighth batch comprising 1,770 pilgrims today left from the base camp in Jammu to the holy cave shrine of Amarnath in South Kashmir Himalayas amid tight security. With today’s batch,over 15,600 pilgrims have so far left from Jammu base camp for Amarnath shrine. Police sources said, in the latest batch the pilgrims left in a cavalcade of 55 vehicles from Bhagwati Nagar base camp this morning.
