15 Iraqi soldiers killed in separate IS attack on military

At least 15 Iraqi soldiers were killed and 14 others injured in two different attacks on military. According to media reports eight Iraqi soldiers were killed yesterday after an Islamic State group suicide car bomber detonated near an Army convoy, military sources told.

Iraq’s counter terrorism forces, backed by the troops and US-led coalition air strikes, moved on the town in western Anbar province which has been under the control of IS.

In a separate attack, military sources told at least seven Iraqi soldiers were killed and 14 others wounded in an IS group assault on military units protecting the al-Habaniyah air base, northeast of Ramadi.
