World leaders have greeted India on Republic Day. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has greeted the country on its 75th Republic Day. In a press release, Mr. Blinken said that the Constitution of India continues to provide an enduring framework for the world’s largest democracy and a foundation for its global leadership. According to Mr Blinken, US President Joe Biden has termed the United States’ relationship with India as one of the most consequential in the world.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has extended his greetings to India. In his message, he said that Republic Day is an opportunity to celebrate India’s extraordinary success across more than seven decades of independence. He said that since Independence, India has drawn on the vitality and diligence of its people to build a modern nation defined by innovation and success.
