Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today said the government is willing to take back suspensions imposed on 25 Congress members provided they give an assurance to the Speaker to extend cooperation for proper conduct of the House.

He said this as opposition parties including NCP, SP, RJD and Left parties staged a walk out when their demand for revoking suspension on Congress members was not heeded. The Minister asked some of these parties to come to the speaker and assure that the Congress members will cooperate for smooth functioning.

Earlier, the members of NCP, SP, RJD and Left parties raised slogans on the matter. Speaker Sumitra Mahajan denied opposition members an opportunity to speak on this issue as there was no notice given for it.
