A special court in Delhi has sought the response from Tihar jail authorities on the plea of a woman who is jailed in 3,600 crore rupees VVIP choppers money laundering case.

The accused, Shivani Saxena who is a director in two Dubai-based firms has alleged that she was not being provided proper medical facilities.

Special Judge Arvind Kumar directed the jail officials to appear before it on 26th of September and explain why the accused was not been provided physiotherapy despite her doctor’s advice. The court also extended Saxena’s judicial custody till 3rd of October.

The ED had on 13th September filed a charge sheet against her and others.
