ANUSHKA AND VIRAT HAVE WELCOME BABY GIRL. The baby girl was born at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital.
Anushka Sharma gave birth to a baby girl at Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital on January 11, 2021. Anushka and Virat had reached the hospital earlier today. The couple had announced Anushka’s pregnancy in August 2020.
Proud father Virat Kohli took to Twitter to share the news. With a heart emoticon, Virat wrote, “We are thrilled to share with you that we’ve been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat (sic).”
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s baby will be called a coronial. This is because the child was conceived during the novel coronavirus quarantine period. Coronial is the term assigned to the generation conceived during this period. The babies may also be referred to as Covid-kids.
