Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today said that India never was an aggressor and never attacked any country as it believes that the entire world was one family. The problems can be resolved through discussion and debate. He, however, said that if somebody attacks India the country will give strong reply.
Mr Naidu said made these remarks while releasing the second volumes of Loktantra Ke Swar and the Republican Ethic, the compilation of 95 speeches delivered by President Ram Nath Kovind here today.
The Vice President said, the faith of President Kovind in democratic values is unwavering and he goes much deeper to reveal before people multiple aspects-layer after layer, when he delves into the vision of the republic.
In his address, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said, the book covers speeches of President of India on culture, changing world education and his speeches in the Parliament. Mr Javadekar said, the books will be available on Kindle and other e-platforms.
Speaking on the occasion, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawarchand Gehlot said, President Ram Nath Kovind’s life is a proud story of incessant struggle for social justice and his speeches reflect his concern for the upliftment of the downtrodden. Information and Broadcasting Secretary Amit Khare and other senior officials of the Ministry were also present on the occasion.
