US stocks ended in positive territory on Monday as investors remained optimistic over trade talks between the United States and its trading partners despite President Donald Trump’s latest announcement to double tariffs on imported steel and aluminum. The Nasdaq Composite closed over 0.6 percent up, S&P 500 rose 0.4 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended nearly unchanged.
