UPSC Result: 28 Muslims among 759 successful candidates

28 Muslim youth out of a total number of 759 candidates have been selected for prestigious jobs under UPSC, based on the results of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2018 held by the Union Public Service Commission in September-October, 2018 and the interviews for Personality Test held in February-March, 2019, following is the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to:

Indian Administrative Service;
Indian Foreign Service;
Indian Police Service; and
(iv) Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’

2. A total number of 759candidates have been recommended for appointment as per the following break-up:

Junaid Ahmad secured AIR 3 in the most reputed and prestigious examination. Junaid belong to District Bijnor of Uttar Pradesh. In his previous attempt, he succeeded to obtain AIR 352 and is officer trainee in IRS but he was not satisfied with rank and reappeared in the examination in order to secure a better rank and finally he achieved his dream. Junaid Ahmad proved this saying that “if sincere attempts are made then results are bound to come”.
