TIA NEWS
A day after Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) MLA Gorakhpur Dr Radha Mohan Das Agarwal, allegedly misbehaved the the under training IPS officer Charu Nigam, the lady officer has posted her feeling in a message on her Facebook profile saying ‘she is not weak’.
She wrote on her Facebook wall, “My training hasn’t taught me to be weak. I just did not expect that my SP city Ganesh Saha Sir would out rightly reject the irrational argument and talk about my injury. Before sir came, I was the senior most officer in police there but when sir came and stood by the force, I got emotional.”
To everyone who has turned up in my support:
My training hasn’t taught me to be weak. I just did not expect that my SP city Ganesh Saha Sir would outrightly reject the irrational argument and talk about my injury. Before sir came, I was the seniormost officer in police there but when sir came and stood by the force, I got emotional .
Media has taken this stand because everyone of them saw both the incidents and this shows the positivity of media in Gorakhpur. I am thankful to them to have shown the truth with least manipulation .
I believe that good gets good and that’s why I have got the support of the media .
Please stay calm! I am fine and slightly hurt. Nothing to be agitated or worried about .
Regards
Charu
Praising and talking about manipulation in media reports, she wrote, “Media has taken this stand because every one of them saw both the incidents and this shows the positivity of media in Gorakhpur. I am thankful to them to have shown the truth with least manipulation.”
She went on saying that I believe that good gets good and that’s why I have got the support of the media. Please stay calm! I am fine and slightly hurt and nothing to be agitated or worried about.
Notably, in a protest at Gorakhpur against liquor there was stone pelting from the crowd after which lathi-charge was done, in which some women got injured.
Dr Radha Mohan Das Agarwal, the BJP MLA from Yogi Adityanath’s home turf, and also a famous doctor reached the spot and get involved in an argument with Charu Nigam, an IPS officer of the 2013 batch currently under training in Gorakhpur.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Radha Mohan Agrawal remained defiant, saying he Charu Nigam had lathicharged old women in the area. Speaking to TV channel India Today on Monday morning, Agrawal said, “15 days ago, three illegal liquor shops were shut in the area. However, 5 days ago, the police allowed the shops to be reopened despite being illegal. The locals in the area, mostly women, were protesting against these shops. But the police lathicharged the crowd, they lathicharged a 70-year-old woman, they kicked a pregnant woman, they beat up a child. Is that fair?”
