Nearly 2,632 madarsa in Uttar Pradesh are unlikely to get government’s grants and help in coming months as they failed to upload their details by the last date to the website initiated by the government for the purpose.
Earlier in the last month, Yogi Adityanath government had stopped all government help to 46 madarsa as their buildings and other things were not found as per norms.
The state government had announced last month that salary of the Madarsa staff and other financial aides will be distributed to them online and launched a website www.madarsasboard.upsdc.gov.in for this purpose.
All madarsa functional in the state were advised to upload their all details including teaching and non teaching staff, students, size of class rooms, photographs of the building to the website by 15 th of this month. A total of 19,143 madarsa are functional in the state as of now.
