Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik has said that he will write a letter to Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav asking him to initiate a probe into alleged irregularities in the appointments made by the UP Public Service Commission UPPSC? He was speaking in Varanasi yesterday at a function organised by a journalists’ body. When pointed out that, ?in ?the appointments made by UPPSC, nearly 56 of 86 Sub-divisional magistrates selected in ?last three exams belong to a particular caste, Mr Naik said ?that he has already spoken about this matter with Chief Minister?.

But since CM is on a foreign trip, so he will write the letter about it as soon as he returns. On the other hand, Secretary UPPSC Rizwanurrahman has refuted the allegations of any wrong selection saying only the most deserving candidates have been selected by the Commission following the laid down norms and procedures.
