Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav held a high level meeting yesterday to take stock of the developments arising out of the transportation of stones and rocks for the Ram temple in Ayodhya. According to sources, the Chief Minister told officials that law and order, peace and communal harmony should not be allowed to be disturbed at any cost.
Taking note of media reports in this regard, Mr Yadav summoned top officials of Home and Police departments and directed them to take effective measures to maintain law and order in the state.
